Valentines Day Card

We're back to school this week and the last so I haven't got a chance to do any scrapbooking or layouts with the amount of homework and assingments already!! This one is for Valentines Day, I have made it just in time as this weeked I have School Camp and our yearly swimming carnival in the week too. I tried not to make it girly so added reds, yellows and turquise. Square card with a piece of scalloped hot pink underneath on one side. A piece of the new We R Memory Keepers, the NEW Heart Attack range. The piece of stripey paper has the words "Be My Valentine" on it, although you cant see it in the photo. The piece of heart paper is also from the new range and is matted in a yellow card. Chipboard frame and one heart is painted in Making Memories Scrapbook Colours Paints; Lagoon colour. The other heart is painted in Making Memories Scrapbook Colours paint; Capri colour. The frame came from a packet of about six frames on the one piece of chipboard and you get four of those in the one packet. Many sizes are in there, I think its great to get such a variety in one packet!!! The frames and hearts have been distressed with sand paper.Frame has three little red gems added on one side. Flower has come from Blossies, we have more flowers at Blossies now, and a few new colours aswell. Little tied pieces of ribbon are stapled to paper. Ribbon is from American Crafts, just a random one from a range they have.
Heres a few close ups, first one is of the corner with the tied ribbons. You can kind of see the words "Be My Valentine" in the stripey paper.

This one is of the scalloped card, the heart piece of card matted in yellow, the frame and the flower. Two hearts are in the centre with two sets of initials in the middle of those.
