Embellishments :Bella Blvd stickers, Blossies ribbon, Spotlight ribbon/lace, Birch trim ,Celebrations ribbon, Prima paper flowers, Green Tara paper flowers, Delish brad and metal embellishment, Spotlight pink butterfly and Iron-on butterfly, Kaiser gems and pearls, Bella Blvd pink letters, Kaiser pink alphabet, plastic bobby pin and pearl buckle from stash, Gold Eyelets from Blossies, Sharpie for journaling
Its quite different but i like the way it turned out.

Organisation

Since I’ve got back I have been re-organizing my room, figured I need to use my desk now I’ve started University. It was bought to use through school-whoops it just had my stuff tigers and toys, useless crap, scrapbooking albums and various pieces of stuff really. So here it is my new desk area. My textbooks, stationary, folders, files, laptop are all easily accessible!!!! Already there is so much work I have to start on so blogging won’t be updated that regularly.

I made this tin also when I came back, I used Imaginisce paper, Bazzil scalloped cardstock, Birch ribbon, Celebrations ribbon, Prima flower, button and assorted chipboard letters painted and covered in KindyGlitz. The tin was then covered in Glimmermist.

Also is my word for 2010, yes it’s already Feb I’ve only just figured it out. I thought being here at my desk is the best way to have it close as to think back to it. It is Zoology; the scientific study of animals. This is the degree I’m studying this year and for the next three years. It is what I want to do, to be a zoologist. This artwork is sitting at my desk where I can see it every time I’m doing study or my university work. Ive added to year 2010, not sure if I’ll keep it just for this year or make new ones for the other two years.

I have used a Bo Bunny orange and black tiger print, a large strip of white spotted paper folded randomly, and covered some chipboard letters in a black and white striped paper inked in light brown. Across the page is a piece of string tied, a button, rose (also inked in light brown), a flower and orange/black button, and a gold charm I had in the stash. The year is Pink Paislee letters which have been distressed. The smaller letters along the bottom are Kaiser.

Armidale

While being in Armidale NSW I tried to blog, this didn’t work as there was barely any reception and it was painful to try and do anything. My laptop and the connection thought it was too hard to try and upload any photos also. Here are some of the photos I took around the town.
This Horsey was very friendly

We found a Gorge

I played a game with some cows, they were inquisitive as I turned around they moved closer, when I took a step towards them they moved back

These are the cutest deer, they were next to our holiday inn.

There is a Lolly Shop =]

Happy Valentines Day♥

Using up more things in the stash

The paper is a ©Cythie Fisher paper from JQ Outdoors, I have had this one for quite a few years and came up with a reason to use it. I took these photos just over a year ago at Australia Zoo, even behind glass I got some quite good pictures. I’ve used up some chipboard letters, covered them in wood grain paper by October Afternoon and sanded the edges, also in the title are Pink Paislee letters which have been distressed. A thick piece of brown organza is gathered undeneath with a smaller piece os brown ribbon, the letters are over the top. A piece of sting is tied around the whole page. The middle photo has a chipboard frame around it, inked and then coated in Dimensional Magic, buttons, metal frame and journalling tag from stash. The paper is matted onto a piece of dark blue Bazzil, this also made it more sturdy as the paper is thin.
Heres some close ups;
This is my favourite part of the page; the detail gone into this tiger on a piece of paper is amazing.

Anywhoo, I'm off to Armidale for a week of orientation at Uni, will be back on here when I return. =]

Too Many Cats??

The white backing piece is Bazzil, brown paper is the back of a Kaiser paper, pink spotted paper is Adorn It and the pink striped cat paper My Memories Scrapbook Paper. I have used my sewing machine on these papers. I have used a photo of each of my cats, I picked the best I had and edited it in Photoshop with their names and the colour to black and white. Each one is distressed around the edge with sandpaper. I like the way it gives it a distinct white border, then all matted in pink Bazzil. In the top right corner is a large Bella! spotted flower, smaller pink Prima Flowers a chipboard flourish; distressed with sandpaper, two loops of pink beads another flower folded in half and a paw print brad in the centre. Sitting on the flourish is a felt Stuck on Craft felt cat sticker. In the bottom left corner is the title the fish and collar are from the same sticker set as the felt cat. Pink glitter letters are Thickers, hot pink Heidi Swapp letters are lightly distressed both have white gel-pen traced around the edge. The pink CATS is a Bella! alphabet but I have painted them instead of being green; Making Memories paint used and then white gel-pen over the top. Three ribbons used a piece from Blossies and the other two while I was out today at Bribie Island. One photo has a piece of pink trim on it.

AAR

I’ve had this photo for a while; it’s an 8x10 and doesn’t give you much room to put stuff on your page. But I came up with an idea for it. The photo is double matted first in Kraft and then in bright green Bazzil, both distressed. Journalling is done in the same green, I have typed it out and cut it into strips, there were so many of them! But it told the story of the photo and how I got it, each one inked in light brown. In the bottom corner I have used Kaiser wooden letters, covered in green paper and pained over the top in brown. One circle covered in music paper and the other circle shape a scrap piece all inked in brown. A metal frame also used two flowers and two buttons on top of each other. Two green brads used and a gem button. I used a piece of film from my sister is under this, a piece of brown ribbon gathered and a green tied piece of ribbon over the top of that, a separate piece of green ribbon tied next to the original knot. A piece of string is around the whole page three times and tied into a bow. At the top of the page is a green My Minds Eye die-cut, a Christmas one from a few years ago. A green piece of ribbon tied and stapled and the All American Rejects logo printed from the computer onto Kraft, also stapled on. To finish it off I distressed the photo and scratched the edge with sandpaper. Back piece is Bazzil Swissdot cardstock.

Something Else

For this layout I got the inspiration from Gail's blog. I knew I wanted to use up all these photos on the one page but didn’t know how, this layout is a great way of cutting up photos and making them fit on the one page. The photos feature Molly being naughty as she usually is; Molly in my hermit crab tank, trying to fit in my pencil case for school and chewing on all my pens and pencils, sitting in my scrap bin while I’m scrapbooking, squeezing into my sisters photo box, chewing and attacking my thread as I’m using my sewing machine and being cheeky with a shoebox, I had more photos but couldn’t use them all.

The back piece is Bazzil, a ginger colour to match Molly. I have used My Minds Eye paper and covered a scalloped piece of chipboard I just drew free-hand. In the bottom middle is a circle piece of card for the date. I have used a Kaiser journalling stamp, not inked to inside and cut off part of the edge and then stamped inside that with a new Imaginisce stamp. This is on top of a black flower. Under the flower a piece of brown organza ribbon tied up and a pin pushed through the knot. The date is Rose Moka letters. Next to this I have used Orange glitter letters from Doodlebug. To make the l’s I cut up two brackets and to O is the outside part of a flower. Underneath this is a large black spotted Bella! flower. Next to the date is a button which I have tied orange string through and tied a bow, a brown button and a wooden cat which I thought looked like Molly. In the top corner is the same ribbon as the bottom with an orange glitter heart, button with string and a paw brad.
