This is a photo of my great grandmother when she was about sixteen years old. The background piece is a light cream colour from the Bazzil Swiss Cardstock range. The edges are distressed and inked in dark brown. A piece from the Making Memories Paperie range notepad (brown) is used on the right side with part of it under the photo. a piece of vintage lace is also partly under the photo. A thinner piece of a different vintage lace is across the bottom and stapled to the page. Large white flower in corner of photo. A piece of brown organza ribbon folded in a circular motion with a pearl added to the centre. Many, many glue dots to keep that one to stay where it is!!! Buttons sewn onto the page with dark brown thread. Scalloped bracket is painted with crackle paint. Light cream underneath with a dark brown over the top. Three pearls added to the scalloped bracket. Two smaller flowers underneath the large flower. Pearls also added to the centre of these. Dark brown ribbon pieces attached to the top left corner of the photo. Three dark brown pearls on the top of the photo. The journalling is done on the part of the brown paperie notepad piece. Title is from Adorn It- Carolees Creations letters inked with dark brown around the edges. They are then covered in dimensional magic. The scalloped bracket is also covered in dimensional magic.

Another Vintage Layout
This layout I had some fun with Parisian Essence. I cut up two strips of calico and dyed them in two lots of parisian essence. One lot was darker than the other. The piece of vintage lace is also died darker with the parisian essence. The flower was originally white, it was also dyed in the same solution. To get parts darker I dipped my finger into the bottle and dapped at the flower, being wet it was easier to spread and smudge. Photos matted in brown card.
The flower has a large button in the centre, sewn onto the page with wool. The piece of calico towards the edge has been sewn with running stitch around the edge with dark brown wool. My grandfathers initials are W.P, I painted the chipboard with Raw Sienna Paint (Jo Sonja).
Journalling done on piece from the Making Memories Paperie Notebook, the edge of the page has cross stiches in a dark brown wool. Large sclloped bracket is painted in the same colour as the initials.
On one of the photos a bracket border has been painted and put over the photo where my pop and the car was. Piece of brown ribbon stapled underneath the photo.

Concert Fun
Also done at last weeks crop, photos of the concert me and a girlfriend went to back in Feb. We went to the Fall Out Boy concert with The All American Rejects as the first supporting band. This is my favourite band as was a must to see them in Brisbane.
Double page spread with many photos, ranging in different sizes, little ones are 3" x 4". One larger 5" x 7" one of main singer; Tyson Ritter.
Started with a piece of black card. Piece of stiped paper and sqaure shapes strip is a piece from the NEW black and white Bella range. Strip of sqaure shapes in matted with white and then inked in black. Bottom strips are ripped and inked. A piece of foil type swirl card is on top of the striped piece, this is also from Bella. It has been distressed with sand paper. Bands members written on small piece of card, inked with black and a small square of gems also. These are Kaiser gems. Piece next to the title is a small piece of a Hambly Screen Print. Title is two types of alphabets. The first one used was Pink Paislee alphabet stickers. The other one used was the Adorn It- Carolees Creations letters all inked around the edges with black ink. The white Pink Paislee letters are inked over the top with black ink also. Strip of Kaiser black gems used on large photo, photo of me and a piece on part of the ticket, which I had kept with scrapbooking in mind. White pen for journalling, just one from Blossie's. Outside of page has been inked in white.

Latest Card Creations
Here are some of my latest cards. Flowers are from Blossies. The butterflies are cut out from a sheet of glittered butterflies. Very cheap made by Bella. Stamp is one from a Hero Arts Set. Ribbons are from stash. Some cards have been created using some Bella Petites- pink. Butterflies have had ribbon tied around them, pearls added to the centre, ink around the edges, and added flowers behind them. The other cards have been created using pieces from a Hambly Screen Print. Some have had flowers, buttons, ribbons, brads, staples etc added to them. Sentiment has been stamped on each card.
Scrapping at Last!!
Yes I know I havent been on here in ages!!!!
This one is of when I was about 2 years old and helping my dad in the garden. Very simple layout without much fuss!!! A piece of the Bazzil Swissdots was used behind a stip of Purple Bazzil card, these ones are sort of new in the Bazzil Range.Photos are matted in similar colours. Title is made up of a few different alphabet stickers (it looks quite effective using more than one type). Hot Pink Heidi Swapp Chipboard letters used, Adorn it-Carolees Creations small stickers also used but they have been inked all around the edges. The other light pink letters are the cursive ones from Pink Paislee. All have been distressed with sand paper ( I must say, this is my favourite way of using those Pink Paislee letters). Three hot pink buttons near the top photo. Strip of hot pink ribbon across the bottom of the page, tied and stapled on. Three flowers of hot pink with light pink in the centre in centre of the page. Flowers are from Kaiser; the pack has three sizes for about $4.50; such a bargain! Journalling on a tag inked and then stapled on there with a dotty ribbon. Two tied pieces also on page; stapled aswell. Doodling around the edge of page. Flourish also stamped beside both photos in a chalk pink ink.
The school work has just been keeping me busy with no time to scrap!!
