Family Layout

This layout I just finished. Background is a piece of Bazzill Bling card. Strips of paper are an older range from Chatterbox designer paper. Photos are matted in a brown card. Flowers are turquise, aqua and green with a small brown one in the centre. Turquoise pearls are added to the centre of each. Title is some chipboard letters from my stash, painted in Making Memories 'honeydew' paint. These are on sale at Blossies now, hurry up and get some for your stash!!!
Pieces of ribbon are tied to two letters and a flower also. Metal brad is in the top corner, thick green ribbon is tied through it. Journalling done underneath the paper on the bottom of the page.
This is a close up of the flowers;The title; I think the letters worked well the green really went well with the layout.

New Year, New Shoes, New Attitude

Heres the latest layout for this week using the new Heidi Swapp felt butterflies and flowers and the Darkroom Door pink paper. Firstly matted the photos with paper and placed them where I wanted on the page. I grabbed a plate and drew a circle in pencil then with hot pink paint, painted the circle line roughly. With a packet of dark pink, light pink butterflies and dark pink flowers with some extra buttons, felt pieces, ribbon, brads and paper flowers I placed them around the circle all sort-of on top of each other and barely any space in between. Some of the larger flowers are layered with more flowers and buttons. One photo has a plastic clip around the photo. Paper frame added to the photo of me. Journalling is done on one of those new tags at Blossies. It is inked in a soft pink colour. Title is Heidi Swapp chipboard letters in hot pink and I've distressed them with sandpaper. Brad added next to the title. The stamp used for the saying "make the most of YOURSELF for all that ther is of you" is from a SeeD's range and is stamped in black ink. To finish it off I got out some Kindy Glitz put a dot on each thing and with a paint brush spread it evenly across the flower/butterfly. Small flowers have small dots around the edges. Edge of paper has been inked with a soft and a hot pink.

Mini - Happy Birthday Jack

Mini Book for a Birthday
Created last night for a birthday that was today! Size was A5 and bits of paper from my stash. Name is inked, a few buttons and brads added.Ribbon to tie it all up, Inside has 10 pages (double sided) all had to be cut down to fit inside. To make the pages fit inside the covers, a concertina was made out of a piece of card, all folded up and pages stuck onto it. This was made for a gift, photos are added in with it and everyone at the birthday had a chance to write down thoughts about the photos and about the birthday. Great thing for an 18th birthday!!

Here's a new stamp i bought. This is not art I just like to make stuff. Its so true I have to admit I do just make alot of stuff, just ask my mum!!

This is it all tied up and finished.

Layout share-many new layouts!!!

Sisterly Love
Layout inspired from Yvette's class on the weekend. Using pieces of the new Paperie pink range and some bits from my stash, mounted on thin chipboard, sanded, inked in red and placed around the photo.bits and piece added to the 1.5 inch squares with ribbon too. Letters are painted and then sanded edges and inked, to match the squares. Two of the squares are stamped, just some from my stash. Two spotted red fabric cut into strips and stapled to the corner with the squares around it.

Here's a close up of some of the squares

Tiger Art
This is a picture of a sketch I did last year for art. I just loved how it turned out and his eyes, so I decided to scrapbook a picture of it. Ribbons used from Blossies with the flowers and the paw brads also. Letters are inked and slightly distressed with sandpaper. Journalling is done with a piece of the new paperie notebooks (in blue). Photo matted and then a piece of blue under that and ripped. Strips of blue paper are just some form my stash. Edge of page inked in black.

Wonder
This one is of me looking after my baby sister; Simone. Pinks and whites used. I found some lace in the craft room similar to what I was wearing in the photo, so I used that on my page. Letters are from Bella. New tags are at Blossies, inked, (some stamped) and then put bits/pieces and ribbon on them. Piece of card underneath from Blossies also, it has a shimmer and butterflies. Photos are matted twice, first in pink and then white.

Heres a close up of some of the tags: The buttons are all hand sewn onto the tag.

Bath Time
This layout is inspired by Donna's class this weekend. Bubblewrap with paint used for a base with strips of ribbon across the page. Photos matted and put on top of that. Title is using the new tags at Blossies, inked and then hand-written in black pen. Green gems are added to the top of each tag. Outside edge inked in lime green.

Older Stuff

Heres two older layouts, were on display at Blossies, now back at home with me.
Pink layout just shows for beach photos you dont need beach themed pages. All papers are from an earlier Bella Range with the flowers cut out from one of the patterened pieces. Title and photo are matted in red with ribbon to match. Small flowers with a brad in each centre. Pin through the top of the spotty piece with a smaller ribbon tied around it.

All pieces are from My Minds Eye. Pinks, aqua and juneberry all go well together. Blue flowers match well with one a die cut in the centre. The other two have a small flower from a patterend piece with gems in the centre of that. The BFF is from a packet of die-cut pieces all matching the papers, frame with journalling is also from the same packet. All available at Blossies. Ribbons added along two sides and two smaller pieces stapled to an edge.

Scrapbooking Obsession!!!

I think I have it!!! Just Scrapping all the time!!!
Heres the layouts created last night. Parts of it done when we had the black out, just lit by a torch.
This is the best friends layout;
Firstly a piece from the white background was cut off with a piece of orange to replace it. With a scalloped ruler I traced scallops onto the piece of lime green, both sides and then distressed and inked in orange. A piece of Making Memories {noteworthy} orange piece is added to the centre of the lime green.Photo matted in pink and distressed. Frame added underneath the photo with the other side a piece from the new Paperie notebook range. Piece of orange tied around that piece with a pink tied around the orange/white backing piece. Smaller green ribbon tied around that ribbon.Buttons added to the scalloped piece in a pattern of orange, pink, green, the bottom button order is reversed. The orange letters are from Pink Paisely Stickers and the hot pink ones from Heidi Swapp's newest range (beginning to be a favourite, I've used them on many layouts now!) but then distressed with sand-paper. Cross-stitch done in right corner top and bottom, with the green ribbon next to the title also stitched on. Large buttons added to the left of the page sewn on and more X's sewn below it. Outside edge of page is distressed and then inked in hot pink, lime green and orange.
Heres a close up of the flowers; Plastic sunflowers are put onto larger coloured flowers, one hot pink the other two lime green. The word 2006 is hand-written in an orange painty pen.
Heres a close up of the title. Using sand paper on these letters really makes an awesome effect. Also see the different colours inked on the edge of the paper.
Heres the second layout;
Beachy photo's used all cut down and are smaller sizes. Each matted differently to match the colours used in the papers. A circle is cut, I just used a bowl in the pantry, cut around and distressed. Piece of green put over that with a stripe of orange across the both of them. Photos all added onto it. Journalling done with a piece cut from the Pink Paisley journalling cut-out page. Running stitch in green along two of the edges. "Fun in the sun" is a rub on and the letters once again the Heidi hot pink ones. Distressed also with sandpaper. Three starfishes are added to the page and then more journalling around every photo, two photos are journalled directly on the photo. Heres a close up of the title;

Orange and Black layout

Orange and Black!!

My favourite colours!!
Photos taken are flowers I recieved as a thank-you when I did a week Work-Experience at Blossies after we finished school for the year.Piece of orange that is ripped is a piece from My Minds Eye Range. Piece of scolloped is from Blossies with the other piece of orange from the newest Kaiser range. Thin strip of light orange is a piece from Making Memories {noteworthy} range. A rectangle is sewn on my machine in black thread with the photos also matted in black. Two pieces of black ribbon added to the bottom with staples, just some from my stash. Title is from Blossies, can't remember who makes them. Arrow gem and circles are from Kaiser and found at Blossies. Larger circle was cut from the little one and then a flower added to the middle of it. The little circle was cut in half and put on two of the photo's corners. Flowers are orange with smaller black in the middle, brad in the centre are from the range that has the flocked brads. Page is inked in a bright orange and a black ink. Tied ribbons also added with staples to the top of the page.

Heres the close up of the flowers/circle of gems (sorry about the colour of the photos, not good lighting):

Owl Layout

Using the Kasier owl range, I created a layout with a photo of a tiger, I used this photo as the colours in the photo match the colours on the page. Large circle cut out, with random pieces of paper behind the photo. The owls in the corner are all cut out and the smaller ones mounted onto the trees. Flowers are added in behind the trees for something extra. Photo is matted in green card and inked in brown. Three circles are cut out with ribbon on them and are behind teh left hand side of the photo. Journalling is done on the right hand corner with ribbon and another owl mounted to the corner. Letters are some from my stash and painted with a dark brown paint.Tag above photo cut of out piece from the range and a button and ribbon added.

This is my new album!!! Just love it, new from Making Memories in the Paperie Range!!!
