Layouts at Last

The day my dream came true;
This is my favourite layout at the moment, this might be because I just made it this arvo. Yes, the blog hasn’t been updated in a while I’ve been working on all these school assignments and exams. The past two days I’ve finally completed the QCS Test, really thankful that’s over!!!!
This layout I choose to use bright colours as I wanted the photo to stand out, it truly is a memorable one. The piece of paper is one from the bright green and black Kaiser range. One die-cut is from my stash, one from the Heidi Swapp journaling pad and the other green piece is from Making Memories notepad. Bright flowers were from Blossies. The lacey green piece is some from Basic Grey. A gem star is also a Kaiser gem with the strand next to the black chipboard flourish. Flourish is one from finishing touches. Large metal frame just a find from last week’s Blossies Garage Sale. What bargains were found!!! Title is made up of numerous alphas. Small letters from Adorn It!, Pink chipboard; Heidi Swapp, Clear Glitter; Thickers, Orange glitter; Doodlebug Design and the ‘dream’ gems from Kaiser. Bunch of brads, bookplate and green lacey paper are also part of the wonderful things found at the garage sale. Photo matted in white card. The first background piece cut smaller to fit with the orange border, both pieces are distressed. Heidi Swapp damask sticker is behind the title. Journaling is done within the metal frame.

This one also created this arvo. This has the four photos of the band members and i. I was so lucky to meet my favourite band and had to create great pages to remember the event. With each photo I used four different alpha stickers with the names of the members. All the cut-out pieces were from a die-cut sheet I bought last year from Blossies, it was themed road trip but had these musical pieces as well. All were stapled on for a rough look. The title made up of Pink Paislee letters and distressed by rubbing sand paper over them. The date is also small letters they are My Little Shoebox. (PS these are great to distress, first time I’ve tried distressing small letters). Photos matted in white first and them lime green. Journaling done on one of the cut out pieces from the die-cut sheet. Three pieces of ribbon stapled onto the top of the page in the right corner.
